THE CURATOR

The Edit

I’m Shirin Taghizadeh — a New York-based creative working at the intersection of luxury fashion, trend forecasting, and retail strategy.

For the past three years, I’ve been with Coach, where I’ve built a foundation in buying, merchandising, and styling — from the sales floor to the set of editorial shoots. I studied Fashion Merchandising & Management at Berkeley College NYC and completed additional programs through Parsons, FIT, and Condé Nast, sharpening my focus on luxury branding, digital strategy, and the future of fashion. I’m especially drawn to global retail, consumer psychology, and innovation within the luxury sector.

My long-term vision? To shape assortments that feel emotionally resonant and commercially strategic — whether on the runway, in-store, or online.

When I’m not curating collections or forecasting the next It-color, you’ll find me at hot yoga, walking to a matcha run, or catching up on runway reviews with and fashion week livestreams in the background.

Fashion, to me, is more than trend — it’s storytelling, timing, and emotional resonance. I don’t just buy clothes.
I buy moments, meaning, and movement.
